Pencil to paper.
That’s where it always begins.

I’ve always been a visual artist at heart. People are my muse and culture is infused in everything I do. I use illustration to project the stories I wish to tell the world. With a combination of type, colour and motion, I love to create short animations capturing snippets of hand-drawn illustration to portray memorable monetary moments from my life. Brands and authors have resonated with this style, and found working together on the design of their book cover, brought to life their stories in the most authentic and beautiful way.

Most of my illustration posts have a deeper story to tell, curious about one? Shoot me a message, happy to share.

BOOK COVERS

Letters from an Insomniac, Javed Nasir

“I'm incredibly grateful for how you transformed my book cover, surpassing my vision. The watercolour theme beautifully conveyed hope, struggle, and pain. The design captured grief, hope, masculinity, and our discussions perfectly. Your decisions, like changing the background to light grey, were game-changers. A friend called it a masterpiece. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I knew you were the one for this since I first met you.”

– Javed Nasir, Author of Letters from an Insomniac

Spice & Herb,
Ian & Kate Hemphill

“The expressive array of vibrantly illustrated Spices & Herbs against a minimalist backdrop, screams me. It’s giving playful yet sophisticated, and I feel caters to both experimental chefs and newcomers. It truly stood out on shelf for me, especially with the photorealistic sketches!”
